ABOUT CAZ & CAROLINE — ANYTHING IS PAWSABLE

Our Story

We didn’t set out to build a business. We set out to help dogs. Between us, we’ve worked with hundreds of dogs across West Yorkshire — reactive dogs, anxious dogs, dogs that had been written off, given up on, or passed from trainer to trainer with nothing to show for it. And what we’ve learned is this: there is no such thing as a dog that can’t be helped. Only dogs that haven’t found the right people yet. We started Anything Is Pawsable because we believe every dog deserves a life free from fear, and every owner deserves to enjoy their dog. We’re based in West Yorkshire — working across Wakefield, Pontefract, Castleford, Ossett and the surrounding areas — and everyone who works with us becomes part of our community. Because that’s exactly what this is. Not just better-behaved dogs. A group of people who understand what you’re going through, who celebrate your wins, and who don’t judge you when it’s a hard week.

Our Experience

Between us, we bring over a decade of hands-on experience working with reactive dogs and their owners.

ABOUT CAZ & CAROLINE — ANYTHING IS PAWSABLE

Meet Caroline

Caroline holds a National Diploma in Animal Management and a First Diploma in Animal Care, and has spent more than ten years working directly with dogs and their owners. Her specialism is helping dogs learn how to relax and regulate their stress levels, because real progress doesn’t happen when a dog is overwhelmed — it happens when they feel safe enough to learn. Caroline also lives with her own reactive dog, Max, a Collie cross Akita. Training Max has been one of her greatest teachers. Along their journey together she has had to learn patience, understand exactly what Max needs from her, and massively develop her handling skills. That experience means she truly understands the ups and downs owners go through when living with a reactive dog — because she’s walked that path herself.

Meet Caz

Caz qualified through the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and has worked alongside Caroline for over eight years, running classes and supporting owners with reactive dogs. She previously had a German Shepherd called Lou, who was both people and dog reactive. Lou sadly passed away, but she had an incredible bond with Caz. Together they spent years learning, growing, and working as a team — and Lou became one of our favourite stooge dogs, helping other dogs learn and progress in their training. Those experiences are a huge part of why we specialise in reactivity. We’ve lived it, learned from it, and know just how powerful the right training and support can be.

Our Approach

We also believe that every dog we work with is an individual. One of our favourite parts of the job is getting to know each dog properly — their personalities, their quirks, their likes and dislikes. Some dogs love toys, some love food, some need space, some need confidence — and understanding those details is often the key to real progress.

Our approach is simple: lower stress, build trust, and teach dogs how to cope with the world around them.

We don’t believe in quick fixes, harsh methods, or forcing dogs into situations they aren’t ready for. Instead, we focus on communication, understanding behaviour, and giving owners the skills they need to truly support their dog.

What if we told you that training your dog can be fun for both of you?
